Araxi: Top rated British Columbia restaurant for years!

Araxi (A) 4222 Village Square (N) 604-932-4540

I had plans for Araxi dinner, however with so much food we bought at costco it would straight up just be a waste of money. Instead, I thought we should try their brunch menu which is only available on Sundays. Can’t thank god enough that the roads cleared up today and our trip to walking around a village was less painful.

  • Complimentary bread & butter: Love the olive oil in my butter.
  • Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice ($4.50): I actually forgot if it was $4.50 or $5 for the orange juice and price isn’t on the website. Anyhow $5 for that cup.. overpriced..
  • Housemade Coffee ($5): I’m not a coffee drinker. Like at all. But Monkey boy needs one everyday. For that fact, he knows what he’s talking about and this was a damn good cup of coffee he said..
  • Poached Fresh Vita Eggs Benedict ($14.50): Served with smoked organic pork loin potato cakes and lemon hollandaise. I don’t know what it is about eating seafood for breakfast, but this was 1 of the very few items that did not include seafood. The Benedict was the best. Their hollandaise sauce is definitely different. Soo buttery with a hint of lemon. I really enjoyed their potato cake. Something different than the normal hash brown we normally get.
  • Maple Cured Two Rivers Sausage Hash ($16.50):Served with fresh pork sausage, potatoes, cherry tomatoes and two baked eggs. Monkey boy’s dish came out looking pretty damn amazing!! I love the sausage circling the eggs. The pork sausage was just perfection. Kind of wish I can grab a hot dog bun and just eat it street food style. The baked eggs were cooked perfectly.
  • The ice bucket!: So cool right?!
  • Araxi have the most awards I had ever seen in a restaurants. People just keep voting them to be the top restaurants in Vancouver and Whistler! Definitely a must try. I need to try the dinner menu next time!!!
  • They have the most extensive wine selection I ever seen. The wine cellars were literally EVERYWHERE! It was like walking into a wine store. MUST TRY!
  • Breakfast/brunch are served from 10:30 am only during Sundays. We were the first one in the door!
  • Another Top Table group. Relatives of Cincin, West, Blue Water & Thierry. The owners must be balling
  • It was kind of pricey for breakfast, almost $60 for breakfast.. meh given the price.. it could’ve better.. just slightly. It wasn’t really anything memorable. Speaking from the breakfast menu.
  • The restaurant was also featured on Hell’s Kitchen! COOOOL RIGHT?!?!
  • Araxi on Urbanspoon
