Sooo got off work just right on time for our WINNING game 4! Went to Joey Burnaby with the bf to catch the game. I didn’t even know they have a rooftop lounge, it’s actually pretty nice up there with lounge tables w/ plasma tv all around the corners and a bar in the middle. We order pretty much everything we usually ALWAYS order besides some new items I wanted to test out and of course, a freaking salad. And game 4. Sedins magic no ice. And yeah, we did order close to $100 at Joey for just the two of us, whateves. Blame Canucks.

Beer on the Tap ($8)
Caesars extra spicy ($6.50): It’s either joey spiked it with more alcohol or I’m just a very lightweight dunno what happened but I was done by first period. That explains my stomach expansion for food.
Tandoor Chicken Flatbread ($14): Chutney, bell peppers, red onion, cilantro & yogurt all on a flatbread. It was either really good or I was already drunk before first period. It is probably good I mean you can’t simply go wrong with anything on bread… not that spicy however that’s a given.
Sushi Cone ($3.50): Tempura praw cone with avocado, spicy mayo and cucumbers.. a lil twist on the typical cones.
Killer Ahi Tuna Tacos ($12): A must order every single time. Seared rare, toasted sesame ginger coleslaw & wasabi aioli.
Lobster Ravioli ($19): Also another must to order for Monkey boy. East coast lobster, rock crab, shrimp & ricotta with a lemon tarragon cream sauce.
Beach Salad ($16.25): My new favourite salad at Joey! Okay normally I think salads are a huge major rip off dining out, but even this salad got monkey boy approval! Hoooray. And it’s gluten free! Strawberries goat cheese quinoa pecans and lemon poppy seed dressing.
