Fish Tacos ($4.50): Tempura battered ling cod with chipotle mayo, shredded cabbage and salsa fresca on a fire toastd flour tortilla. Omg, not even a fan of COD, but damn this made me a fan of COD. That’s like making me a fan of Boston. NOT. Nothing can make me not want to slap Brad Marchand. But it’s pretty darn close. Like the time I was pretty close to passing my social provincial exam in high school. THAT CLOSE. All I am saying is.. one delicious taco.
Tuna Ta-taco ($6.50): Lightly seared sesame-soy albacore tuna with wasabi-ginger mayo, shredded cabbage, mango salsa and seaweed salad on a fire toasted flour tortilla. SO MUCH FLAVA! So much flava that flava flav quit his job. Okay that was horrible. *Faux gag* On a serious note, this is aaaaaamazzing, I died and went to taco heaven.
They have the first location in Tofino (probably where the name originated, makes sense) which got MAD RAVINGS, I first heard about them when they appeared on Eat St and then I heard it was all the damn way in Tofino, I swear my heart sank because I know even if there is a second location, it probably won’t be the same. Then I decided to try it and it was one of those “AH-HA” moment.
They serve a lot of burritos. I don’t like burritos much but you might.

OK, seriously, I have been to Tacofino and I thought it was “OK”, not something I would crave anytime soon. Specially not at that price point!
Well seriously it’s just the perfect combination that I really liked! I mean for a food truck, it’s a lot better than some restaurants I been to!
