Good day, BACON ANYONE? Okay so when I heard Edible Canada got themselves a bacon take out menu, I freaked. I LOVE BACON like it was the one that supported my horrible ass and nourished the tiny ol me. I love it like that.

  • Bacon & Duck Rilette Poutine ($8.50): Cheese curds w/ caramelized onions. Ohhhhhhh sooooo DELICIOUS! The duck — perfect. The fries — perfect. The cheese — perfect. Everything was so great, I forgot I waited 15 minutes outside the heat with no seating. The only thing was, the gravy sauce was pretty salty. Waaaaay too salty for both our liking, but nothing so bad that it as unforgivable. Yes we ate it all. Almost had to pinch myself so I wouldn’t lick the bowl.

  • New take out menu, walk to the window you order. It’s a cool concept! Keep in mind though, you can’t order from here and eat in the restaurant. They just don’t allow you to do so. But it is connected to Edible Canada!
  • I dunno if this is a forever thing (hopefully it is) or it’s just for a limited time.
  • They have bacon desserts and my dearest James from Bella Gelateria made a special formulated gelato just for them. Yep you got it, bacon gelato! I really really need to try that soon! I couldn’t bring myself to do it on the same day as the donuts.
