I don’t know if I’m the only living human being left in Vancouver to not visit this Japanese food market, but if you’re like me then this is for you! It’s quite a cool little market. If you like paying discounted price for overdue food that is. Jk, but not really. However, there’s quite some cool food items you can find like weird Kitkat, Oreos, Aero flavours. Huge selection of Pocky!! You might leave with diarrhea but hey, that’s life right?
Foods are usually marked way before their expiry dates — probably because companies don’t want to be sued by people if they ate bad food. There is so much waste caused by this.
Yes! True I been eating my expired Greek yogurt and I’m fine. Most people wouldn’t want to risk it though. Food poisoning is pretty deadly.
