Personal: I occasionally like to have my own wine tasting at home.

Argh. Alcohol. I love it. I’m starting to drink a lot more wine than normal. It’s becoming to the stage where ‘I need wine to cook’ ‘Omg please grab me a bottle of wine please’ ‘What?!! You don’t drink wine while you study’… yeah. Uhhh.. this is really sounding like I have a problem… ummmmm anyhowwwww… The Silver Sage “The Flame” is a spicy desert wine. I tried it at the Silver Sage winery itself. Drunk of course. I didn’t think of buying it then because it was so spicy!!!! Anyhow, I’m sucha idiot because this makes THE BEST caesars ever!!! I mean seriously. It’s so good. I forgot what I added in the mixture, I believe something along the line of clamato (that word sounds so funny when you’re drunk), the wine, worcestershire sauce and ta da! No need for tabasco but if you have that add it too. Spicy is good.

The moscato from Napa Valley is AMAZING!!!! There’s little notes of cantaloupe and lychees. I’m a huge moscato fan. Take note if you want to be my friend. And that red wine glass above.. well I forgot the name but it wasn’t that great so don’t worry.

Oh ps thank me later but have the moscato with the tuxedo cake from Costco. AAHHHMAAAZING.

Rocanini: Upscale coffee shop on Steveston

Rocanini: (A) 3900 Moncton St (N) 604-284-5126
I know: So many post today. It’s like I’m a real blogger again. So, this place was in the area as we were walking by. I know what you’re thinking. Do I always stop in every store every time I walk by it. Yes, of course. Do you not grab that girls ass when you’re checking her out? Yes, you do. I’m kidding. But this is a fairly large coffee shop located in the main district of steveston. They look like they know what they’re doing. I wouldn’t know. I’m not a huge coffee drinker. My boyfriend said it was good. Why don’t you take his words for it and leave me alone now. Gez, I just wanted to blog!!

Outpost Mini Donut Co: A cute little mini donut shop

Outpost Mini Donut Co: (A) 12240 Second Avenue (N) 604-448-0005
After I digested my amazing to die for waffle cone I passed by this place on the way home. It’s pretty meant to be if you ask me. Oh and I lied. I was eating my ice cream cone while I ordered these mini donuts. Whatever okay.

  • I got a dozen of the powder sugar, cinnamon, chocolate icing and strawberry. I don’t remember much but the powder sugar was amazing. Though if I remember correctly it was a bit soggy. Well the dozen cost $6.25 so it’s worth a try!
  • Friendly owners, she made my batch fresh and on the spot. She even gave me extra!
  • They have seasonal flavours so make sure to ask.
  • A really cozy coffee shop to munch on mini donuts

Fisherman’s Terrace Seafood: Pretty solid dimsum here.

    Fisherman’s Terrace: (A) 4151 Hazelbridge Way (N) 604-303-9739

Wow, this was back in May. That makes me so sick. I have a long way to go. I don’t remember much but we went here on a Monday morning with Monkey boy’s whole entire family. Yes, we all made it on a MONDAY MORNING. The odds of that are pretty slim to umm nothing, but thanks to some of us calling in work sick, some missing school, some on lunch break, all for the family visiting from san jose. It paid off well! We were planning on Sun Sui Wah but they were closed for some renovations? I don’t know. This was my first time at this restaurant. It’s a really beautiful Chinese restaurant located inside Aberdeen, with sparkly interior. I’m not going to bother and name all the food, chances are I am missing so many items and I don’t know the name of others.

But my recommendations: THE DESSERTS ARE AMAZING!!!! ALL OF THEM. I am not a huge fan of Chinese deserts and bakeries but oh gosh, carrying a 10 lbs baby of dimsum inside my stomach and still wanting to eat all the desserts on the table.. that’s a problem (aka delicious). Also the chicken salad. Really good.
