This marked off my third time dropping someone off at the airport in 2 months. One of my aunts bf is heading off to Vietnam for the holidays, oh I’m going to miss her food! I’m pretty sure I eat more of her cooking than I do with my own mom. Anyways, we came here before their check in. I really don’t remember no.9 being this good! Haven’t been here in years. And when I did eat here, it was after clubbing which meant I was drunk and the food might’ve not lasted to long in my stomach. I mean, it’s not the GREATEST chinese food, but price wise — they’re pretty decent here. It’s either that or I just had a horrible experience with my last chinese meal, that probably is a factor.
Yeung Chow Fried Rice ($12.75): It’s okay, nothing that great. Fried rice is way too simple to make.
Lamb and Bean Curd Hotpot ($18.75): Everyone enjoyed this dish, I can’t even find it on their website menu. I didn’t do the ordering so I have no idea what some of these dishes are named, but hey you can always show the server the pictures .. I do that all the time. And please, I never get called weird.
BBQ Duck Half ($13.25) LOVE THE BBQ DUCK HERE. Not as good as bbq master of course, but damn they can pull off some pretty decent bbq duck for a restaurant that’s open 24 hours. Some pieces were a bit too salty, but either than that, it’s amazing.
Fried Prawns ($14.95): Love these fried prawns or shrimp, or whatever. I don’t know but they’re super delicious. A nice salty crunchy taste, battered is so good you can eat the entire shrimp — with tail and skin. Must order! Someone correct me if the item names are wrong, had really hard time locating the right names.
Beef w/ Kai Lan ($13.25): Decent, beef and kai lan. Kind of oily.
Honey Garlic Ribs ($13.25) Wow, my all time favourite dish here! Must order their honey garlic ribs.
House Special Chow Mein ($14.95) Didn’t eat much of the chow mein at this point I was way too full. It was okay, nothing that stood out for me.
They actually have an atm machine in the restaurant, CASH ONLY.
Open 24 hours — even holidays.
