I left enough room (somehow it’s possible) for this amazing hotdog.

How cool people burn off calories; walk around walmart to find candies. Hey it was super walmart (hence it’s bigger)

I love five guys. They hit the damn spot.

1. The buns are perfect.
2. Unlimited toppings — I always go “all the way”
3. Fries are cooked in pure peanut oil. It’s amazing.
4. Free peanuts while you wait, works for me.
5. There are no freezers in Five Guys locations, just coolers. Nothing is ever frozen.

I rest my case.

There’s no bloody way in hell I can name all of these items, and obviously I didn’t have the super nova powers in me to take evidence of all the food.. there was just too much. But food isn’t really the point of this post. Just wanted to say happy belated mothers day to all the wonderful women out there! You guys rock, take advantage of this day.. I know when I have kids, I’ll make this day work to my favours.

Kids clean my car.
Wash the dishes.
Take me out for dinner.
If you’re not busy can you also make the bed for me?
Of course you’re not going to be busy today right?
Oh.. and I need new clothes.

I can’t believe it’s been one full year since we last came here for brunch. It just so happens that this restaurant is located in the mall, and well.. my sisters and I are pretty last minute. Our itinerary every single time: Server seats us at the table. We get up and “go to the washroom”, wander off to the mall in hope of a not so shitty gift. “Mom look what we got you.. it wasn’t from today obviously”.

BANH MI NEM NUONG ($3.75)

It wasn’t until I was starving, waiting for my mom to wake up from her “hangover” (mine obvs didn’t matter) for mother’s day brunch, passing by Tay Do that I realized, I could definitely go for a banh mi right now & I’ve never blogged about this place. 30 minutes before brunch with the family, the bf and I consumed a sandwich. Typical us.

They have so much variety of banh mi here along with other vietnamese side dishes.. authentic, friendly, and wallet-friendly. That’s not a bad way to start your day right?

Wedding dinner at Neptune. I hardly ate the food.. so can’t comment much.

That bottle of Hennessy didn’t last 10 minutes between our table.

Clearly I wasn’t drunk enough for no.9 food at 1 in the morning. Everything tasted pretty nasty and when you’re drunk nothing. taste. nasty. Even a big mac magically becomes caviar when I’m drunk… I was so excited about my congee & silver fish too. All I was thinking by the end of the day, so sad.

And yes, I still somehow remember to snap pictures of my food when I am intoxicated.

My plan of not overeating or eating in general to prevent myself from bloating up like a ballon, of which my size double zero dress would be shameful to wear.. failed. It was only so long 30 minutes ago that I was so sure I should just. eat. a freaking. salad.
Never underestimate the power of a good hot dog.

Pre-wedding shameless selfies. I got caught taking these in the car, by what it appears to be, a 70 years old not so happy man. Whom probably thought to himself “how do I get rid of all asians”. My friend, these hotdogs are worth your while.

After my friend’s church wedding reception; this felt like the right place to go.
Only because I needed a meal that won’t make my hormones go nuts and bloat up 10 lbs. Food comes second when you’re talking ’bout a double 0 dress yougottafitinto.

The flavours weren’t all there for me. Not much of that authentic Korean dining experience. They were all over the place with the menu and even the interior. I even felt confused for them. Big enough portions for you to come back if getting your moneys worth is what you want.

My first time having menchies in a waffles cone. Best part? Finding out I was qualified for a freebie from my menchies reward program. Those are the best. Like today, I was about to put some change into a the parking meter, but realized someone left me with 54 mins.. Those little ah-ha life moments. It’s so awesome.

I don’t know if I am happy about menchies popping out everywhere. It’s not really diet friendly when I coat my frozen yogurt in that much toppings. I almost believed my own lies I told myself once upon a time. But no my friends, red velvet disguised as frozen yogurt is still nothing abs-friendly. But who cares anymore? Abs are so last year.

Today was one of those days. Thank you, but no thank you.

11 AM: Accident at the gym, hurt myself pretty bad. (don’t want to talk about it)
4 PM: Bad work day
5 PM: No seat belt ticket… another $160 fine
6 PM: Got to downtown. Hungry, but couldn’t eat yet.. parking took forever to find.
7 PM: Only 2 hours to find a last min dress for friend’s wedding.
8 PM: Both our phone died, rogers charged my bf’s iphone for 30 mins.. very nice of em
9 PM: Finally found dress, went back to the car. CAR WASN’T THERE!!!! Apparently missed it by 3 mins. Impark man. Never parking with em again.
10 PM: Took a cab to impound. Paid $20 for cab. Paid $100 to get the car out. Car didn’t even touch the ground yet. Hmph.
10:30 Realized I forgot MY DAMN DRESS I just bought in the cab
10:45: Waited for a phone call back from cab company about a missing $300 dress
11 PM: Can the day just END already!?!! Had dinner at stephos finally. Ordered a bottle of wine. All was good.

Well, not really. To be honest, I have no idea what hit us both that day. One of the worst days I ever had.. but then again, I reminded myself I was breathing and that’s always a good sign.

My pictures for once REALLY does not do justice of how conveniently cheap and delicious stephos is. I mean that pork chops, BEST I HAD! For that price??! I’ll have it over & over again. I’m not saying this only because that bottle of wine was the cheapest I ever had at any restaurant and was the only positive thing that happened to me all day.. but really, stephos. I love you for that you did not disappoint me on sucha horrible day. Life saver.

DARK CHOCOLATE ($6.25)

This is the kind of crepes you would get if you were stuck in one of those “Hangover” movies. What I am trying to say is, if you got drunk with a tiger, woke up with a tattoo on your face, and lose one of your fingers while tryna kidnap a monkey….. this is the kind of crepes you would produce. It would be kind of understandable. KIND OF.
