Christmas dinner.

Soooooooooo Christmas is in one week. I’ve been looking around for recipes for dinner since the first of December. This year, I am also going to W’s family for Christmas eve and Christmas. However, I have a family (huge) of my own, sooooooo I will be making Christmas dinner again, last year I attempted my first try at a turkey. Pretty scary shit, but it turned out pretty juicy and awesome, so I have my confident back. This is pretty much the only time when my mom sits back and relax, and I do all the dirty work, burning my fingers in the oven, tearing my sorry little eyes out while chopping onions, wiping the sweat of my face, how classy. Just don’t know how I WILL FIT 3 DINNERS IN 2 DAYS. I am speaking about my stomach of course, screw time, jk. Time too.

Cranberry sauce: I refuse to have that can-molded cranberry gel on my table, delicious as it is. I made it last year, so simple.

Roasted Rib. Been shopping around for the best rib recipe, this one looks very challenging because of how STRICT the rule of not opening the oven is. That is going to be hard. I am that child that cannot keep my hands out of the oven despite the voice in the back of my head “YOU’RE LETTING THE HEAT OUT”. Whatever.

Parmesan Mashed Potatoes Tastes like you put a baked potato into a blender and poured it into your mouth, which is pretty much what my elderly years will be about.

Southern Corn Look, the only reason why I want I want this on my plate is because… bacon.

Honey Roasted Turkey. I think I am going to use this turkey recipe… not too sure.. I haven’t read the reviews on yet so far.

I think I need another vegetable side dish, not sure what though. Don’t want to overdo it since I know I will need the stomach for the other dinners. Might make a spicy bean casserole? Or just a regular salad if I am lazy.
