Definition of Food Coma: When all your blood goes to your abdomen for a food digestion party, it deprives your brain of oxygen, causing a comatose state known as food coma. May cause you to take a fat nap. Can also be defined as, the feeling of listlessness, bordering on sleep, that one feels after eating a large meal, often caused by a rush of blood to the stomach and intestines during food digestion.

That sounds about right. I’m so full. Truly. And not the “happy full” that I am after a good meal. Bad full. Need-to-go-back-to-low-carb-for-a-bit full. I feel icky. I felt like I ate at least a whole population last night.

So we went to Hong Mi Korean BBQ for W’s dad last day here before he takes off for vacation. The entire family came out and we had a good time. Especially, because there was so much food, you probably could keep a village in African fed for weeks.

So we ordered the BBQ Full course dinner for $20/per person.
And Shabubu Shabubu full course dinner for $20/per person.

This restaurant is A LOT bigger than what you think from the outside. I’ve known them to change owners from time to time. There’s a whole buffet setting for special parties, you can reserve that at a cost. Holy moly, so many booths and tables!
